KM Elite Padded Headcollar – Burgundy, Small (Large Pony)

Burgundy is one of the darker colours in KM Elite's padded headcollar range and one of the few that reads as smart without being plain black. This is the Small — KM Elite's Large Pony fitting — in double- and triple-weave lined nylon with brass-coloured hardware.

Soft padding runs across the headpiece and the noseband, so the pressure of a horse standing tied is spread rather than concentrated on two narrow strips of webbing. It is a headcollar for daily handling, travelling and tying up on the yard, not for leaving on in a field.

How to Use

• Fit the noseband two fingers' width below the cheekbone, with two fingers' room between it and the nose.
• Adjust the headpiece so the throat lash sits behind the cheek without pressing.
• Hand wash in warm water and air dry naturally. KM Elite say not to tumble dry it.
• Hang by the headpiece so the noseband holds its shape between uses.
