KONG Jumbler Ball – Medium/Large

Medium/Large is the smaller of the two Jumbler Balls and the one most dogs in this country actually need. KONG size it for dogs of 30 to 65 lb — about 14 to 29kg — so Spaniels, Collies, Staffies and most Labradors are covered by it.

It is the same two-in-one idea as the larger ball: a handled outer shell with a tennis ball loose inside and a squeaker to go with it. At this size a dog can lift it cleanly off grass by one of the handles, which is the difference between a ball that gets fetched and a ball that gets nosed around.

Performance & Benefits
  • Handled shell that a medium dog can lift without flattening its jaw against the floor.
  • Tennis ball inside tumbles and rattles as the toy moves.
  • Squeaker built in alongside the interior ball.
  • Bounces off true, so fetch stops being predictable.
  • Stands up to repeated hard throwing better than a plain tennis ball.
  • Assorted colours.

Suitable For
  • Dogs of 30–65 lb (roughly 14–29kg), KONG's stated band for this size.
  • Dogs that fetch every day and get through ordinary balls quickly.
  • Owners who want a handle to grip rather than a wet ball to prise out.
  • Play on grass, where the handles let a dog scoop it up at speed.
  • Not enough ball for a Rottweiler or a Great Dane — the KONG Jumbler Ball Large/XLarge is sized for 60–90 lb dogs.
<>
How to Use
  • Throw or roll it; let the shape give you the bounce.
  • Take it back by a handle rather than by hand from the mouth.
  • Rinse and air dry after muddy sessions so the inner ball does not stay wet.
  • Inspect the handles and shell for cracks before you throw it again.

Care & Caution
  • A ball has to be too big to swallow. Do not give this size to a dog above KONG's 65 lb band.
  • If the outer shell is split open the interior tennis ball comes loose and can be swallowed — retire it at that point.
  • This is a fetch toy, not a chew toy; take it up once the game has finished.
  • Supervise play, particularly with a dog that likes to lie down and work at a ball.
