KONG Sneakerz Knots – Medium, Assorted Characters
Sneakerz Knots are the joke toys of the KONG soft range: a plush character standing in four squeaky trainers, with a knotted rope running through the body underneath. The shoes each squeak, so a dog gets four separate noises out of one toy, and the rope is what gives it enough substance to be shaken properly.
This is the Medium, and the characters are assorted — you take the one that arrives rather than choosing it. KONG no longer list the Sneakerz Knots, so nothing below is quoted as a KONG figure unless they still publish it.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Internal knotted rope gives the body weight and structure.
- Four squeaky trainers, so the toy makes noise wherever a dog takes hold.
- Legs and shoes give several natural grab points for tug.
- Plush upper body for carrying and settling with.
- Assorted characters, allocated at random.
Suitable For
- Medium dogs that carry and shake toys rather than shred them.
- Dogs that lose interest in a toy with a single squeaker.
- Interactive tug held by a shoe.
- Households happy to be sent whichever character is in stock.
- Not the toy for a dog that goes straight for the squeaker — a rubber chew such as the KONG Extreme in black is safer for those.
How to Use
- Take hold by one shoe and let the dog take another for tug.
- Throw it short indoors; the legs make it tumble rather than slide.
- Sponge clean and hang to dry; the rope core holds damp.
- Rotate it out of the toy box so the squeaks stay interesting.
Specification
- Size Medium.
- Plush body over an internal knotted rope, with four squeaking trainers.
- Characters assorted and randomly allocated.
- KONG UPC 035585498386.
- KONG no longer list the Sneakerz Knots and publish no size band, dimensions or composition for it, so none are stated here.
Care & Caution
- Four squeakers means four things that can be swallowed if the toy is opened.
- Retire it at the first tear rather than stitching it back up.
- Supervise play; this is not a toy to leave with a dog unattended.
- Match the toy size to the dog — a Medium soft toy is a mouthful for a large breed.
