KONG Wild Knots Bear – Medium/Large, Assorted Colours

Medium/Large is the largest of the three Wild Knots bears KONG build, and KONG size it for dogs between 30 and 65 lb — roughly 14 to 29kg. What makes it work is what you cannot see: a knotted rope skeleton runs through the arms, legs and body, so the bear keeps its shape under a determined shake and gives a dog something with real substance to grip.

The plush shell is reinforced and carries very little stuffing, which is KONG's own design choice — less filling means less mess on the carpet when a seam eventually goes. A squeaker in the body keeps the interest up. Colours are assorted and picked at random, so the bear that arrives may be brown, grey or something else again.

Performance & Benefits
  • Internal knotted rope skeleton runs the full length of the body and limbs.
  • Reinforced plush exterior, built to take shaking and carrying rather than serious chewing.
  • Minimal stuffing, so a burst seam does not empty across the room.
  • Squeaker keeps a dog coming back to the toy between play sessions.
  • Soft enough to be a sleeping companion once the game is over.
  • Assorted colours, allocated at random.
<>
Suitable For
  • Dogs KONG size at 30–65 lb (about 14–29kg).
  • Shakers and carriers — dogs that pick a toy up and thrash it rather than settle down to dismantle it.
  • Dogs that want a soft toy to sleep with as well as play with.
  • Households happy to take assorted colours.
  • Too much toy for a small dog to swing about — the KONG Holiday Wild Knots Bear Small/Medium or the KONG Wild Knots Bear X-Small are the sizes for those.
<>
How to Use
  • Hand the bear over and let the dog find the rope under the plush; most start at the limbs.
  • Good for two-handed tug using an arm or a leg, and for short indoor fetch.
  • Sponge clean and air dry rather than machine washing, to keep the rope core from staying damp.
  • Keep it in a rotation with a rubber chew toy so it stays interesting.

Specification
  • Size Medium/Large, KONG's largest Wild Knots bear.
  • KONG's size guidance for this one is dogs of 30–65 lb (about 14–29kg).
  • Plush shell over an internal knotted rope skeleton, with a squeaker and minimal stuffing.
  • Assorted colours — the specific bear is not chosen at ordering.
  • KONG give the Wild Knots Bear Medium/Large as 9.25 × 10 × 3.5in and 0.38 lb, and their own holiday run of it as 8.5 × 10 × 4in and 0.38 lb.
  • Material on KONG's figures: 70% polyester, 28% cotton, 2% plastic squeaker. KONG list their holiday bears under their own codes rather than this one, so the figures above are the range's.

Care & Caution
  • This is a plush toy, not a chew toy. A dog that sets out to open it will manage it.
  • Once the cover is breached the rope core and the squeaker are both swallowable — take the toy away at the first hole.
  • Supervise play, and do not leave it with a dog that is alone all day.
  • Size matters: a toy meant for a 30–65 lb dog is not a safe carry for a much bigger one.
