Leovet Power Phaser Durativ – Fly Repellent Gel, 500ml

Durativ is Power Phaser in gel form, and the reason to choose it over the spray is the head. A horse that throws its poll up at the hiss of a trigger bottle will stand perfectly still for a sponge, and a gel goes exactly where you put it — around the ears, along the cheek, down the midline — without drifting into eyes or nostrils. leovet describe it plainly as a fly repellent gel for the absolute protection of sensitive parts of the body.

It repels mosquitoes, horseflies, flies and ticks, and leovet state that it keeps working during perspiration. The sponge is included in the tub, so the gel is applied without coating your hands. The active oils are the same plant blend leovet use across the Power Phaser range: cade oil from juniper, citriodora oil, geranium oil, pennyroyal oil and cedarwood oil.

Performance & Benefits
  • Gel consistency stays where it is applied — no drift towards the eyes or airways.
  • leovet name the target insects specifically: mosquitoes, horseflies, flies and ticks.
  • Stated by leovet to keep working during perspiration.
  • Sponge applicator included, so tender areas can be covered accurately.
  • Five plant-derived oils: cade, citriodora, geranium, pennyroyal and cedarwood.
  • A workable option for horses that will not tolerate an aerosol or trigger spray at all.
<>
Suitable For
  • Faces, ears, cheeks and other sensitive areas where a spray is a fight.
  • Horses that are head-shy or genuinely frightened of spray bottles.
  • Targeted protection on the midline, sheath and udder rather than whole-body cover.
  • Tick country as well as midge and horsefly ground.
  • Covering a whole horse daily is slow work with a sponge — the 500ml Leovet Power Phaser spray is faster for full-body use.
<>
How to Use
  • Start from a clean, dry coat.
  • Load the sponge with gel rather than tipping the tub over the horse.
  • Work it in over the areas you want protected, keeping well clear of the eyes and nostrils.
  • Reapply after rain, washing or hard work.
  • Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use — leovet's own instruction.

  • Plant-based repellent oils: cade oil (juniper), citriodora oil (lemon eucalyptus), geranium oil, pennyroyal oil, cedarwood oil.

  • Biocidal product registration quoted by leovet: Reg.Nr. 63394, HS 8680 / PCS 98689.
  • Made by leovet Dr. Jacoby GmbH & Co. KG, Lahnau, Germany. Barcode 4033081160550. leovet spell the name Durativ; some listings show Durative.

Care & Caution
  • An insect repellent is a biocidal product. Use biocides safely and read the label before use.
  • Keep out of the eyes, nostrils, mouth and other mucous membranes — particularly relevant on a product designed for the face.
  • Do not apply to broken, sore or rubbed skin.
  • Patch test a small area on first use and wait a few hours before treating the face.
  • Wash your hands after use, and rinse the sponge before it goes back in the tub.
