Leovet Power Phaser Fly Repellent – 2.5 Litre Refill Canister

This is the bulk canister of Power Phaser, bought to refill the sprayer you already own rather than to spray from directly. On a yard where several horses go out every morning through July, a 550ml bottle empties fast; 2.5 litres is roughly four and a half of them, at a considerably better rate per litre, with one canister to store instead of a shelf of bottles.

The liquid is the same Power Phaser formula: five plant oils — cade oil from juniper, citriodora oil from lemon eucalyptus, geranium oil from rose geranium, pennyroyal oil and cedarwood oil. leovet claim seven hours of protection, and specifically that it keeps working when the horse sweats, which is where cheaper repellents tend to fail. They also state Power Phaser is ADMR compliant with no waiting period under FN anti-doping rules.

Performance & Benefits
  • Seven hours of protection, which leovet state holds even when the horse sweats.
  • Five plant-derived repellent oils: cade, citriodora, geranium, pennyroyal and cedarwood.
  • Cedarwood oil is credited by leovet with coat benefits as well — reducing dandruff and hair loss — alongside its repellent action.
  • leovet describe the cover as protection against all insects and horseflies.
  • 2.5 litres refills a 550ml sprayer more than four times over, at a lower cost per application.
  • leovet state Power Phaser is ADMR compliant with no waiting period under FN anti-doping rules.

Suitable For
  • Yards and multi-horse households going through repellent by the litre in summer.
  • Refilling an existing Power Phaser spray bottle or a clean, dedicated trigger sprayer.
  • Horses turned out on midge and horsefly ground.
  • Riders who need protection that survives a sweaty schooling session.
  • If you only have one horse, or want it in a bag at a show, the 500ml Power Phaser spray or the 75ml Power Phaser Roll-On are the sizes to buy instead.
<>
How to Use
  • Decant carefully into a clean spray bottle — a funnel saves a great deal of waste.
  • Spray onto a clean, dry coat and spread with a cloth or gloved hand.
  • Work around the head with a cloth rather than spraying towards the face.
  • Reapply after heavy rain, a wash, or once the seven hours are up.
  • Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use — leovet's own instruction.

Care & Caution
  • An insect repellent is a biocidal product. Use biocides safely and read the label before use.
  • Keep out of the eyes and off the muzzle, nostrils and other mucous membranes. Apply around the head with a cloth.
  • Do not apply to broken, sore or rubbed skin.
  • Test a small patch on a horse using it for the first time and wait a few hours before treating the whole body.
  • Wear gloves when decanting a canister of this size, and keep it away from children and out of reach of animals.
