Leovet Power Phaser Roll-On – 75ml

The roll-on exists for the parts of a horse a spray bottle should never be pointed at. Ears, the hollow under the jaw, the corners of the eyes, the sheath — leovet describe it as ideal for sensitive areas such as the ears and face, and gentle enough for horses with sensitive skin. Rolled on, the liquid goes exactly where the ball touches and nowhere else.

At 75ml it is a pocket product rather than a yard one: it lives in a grooming bag, a jacket pocket or the glovebox of a lorry, and comes out for a top-up at a show or before a hack. The repellent oils are the same plant blend as the full-size Power Phaser — cade oil from juniper, citriodora oil, geranium oil, pennyroyal oil and cedarwood oil — and leovet list the same target insects: mosquitoes, horseflies, flies and ticks, even during perspiration.

<>
Performance & Benefits
  • Roller ball puts repellent precisely on ears, face and other tender spots with no overspray.
  • leovet name the targets specifically: mosquitoes, horseflies, flies and ticks.
  • Stated by leovet to keep working during perspiration.
  • Described by leovet as gentle on skin and suited to horses with sensitive skin.
  • 75ml fits a pocket, so a top-up at a show does not mean a trip back to the lorry.
  • No noise and no hiss, which matters on a horse that dislikes sprays.
<>
Suitable For
  • Ears, face, jaw and other sensitive areas.
  • Head-shy horses and ponies that will not stand for a trigger bottle.
  • Shows, clinics and hacking, where a small bottle is all you want to carry.
  • Ponies and children's ponies, where precise application beats a cloud of spray.
  • Too small for whole-body cover — the Leovet Power Phaser spray, or Power Phaser Durativ gel for sponge application, are the products for a whole horse.
<>
How to Use
  • Apply to clean, dry skin and hair.
  • Roll on around the ears, along the cheek and under the jaw, keeping clear of the eyes.
  • Wipe the ball clean before the cap goes back on if it has picked up dirt or hair.
  • Reapply after rain, washing or hard sweating.
  • Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use — leovet's own instruction.

Care & Caution
  • An insect repellent is a biocidal product. Use biocides safely and read the label before use.
  • Keep out of the eyes. Work around them, not over them, and rinse with plenty of clean water if any gets in.
  • Keep off the nostrils, muzzle, lips and inside of the ears.
  • Do not apply to broken, sore or rubbed skin — a rubbed ear tip needs treating, not repelling.
  • Patch test on a small area first if the horse has not had it before.
