A heavy stoneware pet bowl in yellow, 150mm across. Weight is the point of a bowl like this: a thick stoneware pot does not slide, does not tip when a dog leans into it, and does not need a rubber ring underneath to stay put.

Yellow is unusual in Mason Cash petware and this bowl is not in their current listings, so what follows is limited to what can actually be verified. Where earlier copy on this page gave a capacity and a set of claims, those could not be traced to Mason Cash and have been left out rather than repeated.

How to Use

• Stand it on a level, hard floor.
• Wash food bowls after every meal and water bowls daily.
• Wash by hand or in the dishwasher; no manufacturer rating is published for this particular bowl.
• Let it dry fully before refilling.

Specification

• Stoneware. 150mm diameter.
• Mason Cash do not currently list a yellow Pot pet bowl and publish no specification for it. No capacity, weight or depth figure is given here for that reason.
• Earlier copy on this page claimed a 700ml capacity and stated the bowl was freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. None of that could be verified against Mason Cash and it has not been repeated.
• For their current 15cm stoneware dog bowls Mason Cash state dishwasher and microwave safe; that statement is about those bowls, not this one.

Care & Caution

• Stoneware chips and cracks. A chipped rim is sharp — stop using the bowl once the glaze is broken.
• A heavy ceramic bowl will break a tile or a toe if it is dropped. Lift it with both hands when it is full.
