Megazorb Original Wood Pulp Bedding – 85 Litres
Megazorb is virgin wood pulp fibre — a by-product of the British paper-making industry, not recycled timber and not sawdust. It comes double dust extracted, which is why it is a standing recommendation for a horse with a respiratory problem, and it takes up a great deal of moisture for its bulk.
In the box it behaves quite differently from a shaving. It packs down into a soft, insulating bed that stays where it is put, sits over rubber matting without sliding about, and holds stable odours down. Once it reaches the heap it composts quickly.
<>Performance & Benefits
- 100% natural virgin wood pulp fibre from British paper-making.
- Double dust extracted.
- Super absorbent, so wet is held rather than spread through the bed.
- Soft and insulating underfoot.
- Absorbs stable odours.
- Quick to compost, which makes the muck heap easier to deal with.
Suitable For
- Horses and ponies with respiratory problems or dust sensitivity.
- Stables laid over rubber matting.
- Yards wanting a bed that takes little daily work.
- Anyone short of muck heap space, since it composts quickly.
- If you would rather have a free-draining bed where the wet runs to the base, easibed works the other way round and suits some horses better.
How to Use
- Spread to an even depth over a clean, dry floor, or over rubber matting.
- Take out droppings daily and lift saturated areas.
- Top up rather than stripping the bed.
- Megazorb say how you use it depends on your management, the box and the horse, and publish no fixed number of bags for laying a bed.
Specification
- 85 litres per bag.
- Composition: 100% natural virgin wood pulp fibre, a by-product of the British paper-making industry.
