NAF In The Pink Powder – 700g

In The Pink Powder is NAF's broad-spectrum balancer in powder form: a full sweep of vitamins, trace elements and amino acids carried on a wheat feed and brewers' yeast base, with fructo-oligosaccharides for gut support. The gut support is the part that distinguishes it — the argument being that a healthier hindgut gets more out of everything else in the bucket.

A 700g tub is a 30-day supply for a horse of 400kg or more at the maintenance rate of 24g a day. It is audited under the BETA NOPS scheme as suitable for FEI competition, and NAF also publish it in 1.4kg and 2.8kg tubs.

Feeding

• Horses of 400kg and over: 24g daily for maintenance, 32g for concentrated use.
• Ponies up to 400kg: 16g daily for maintenance, 24g for concentrated use.
• Mix into the daily feed.
• 700g lasts approximately 30 days at the 24g rate. Also made in 1.4kg and 2.8kg.

• Trace elements per kg: copper 3,700mg, zinc 2,960mg, manganese 1,480mg, iodine 14.70mg, selenium 5.91mg.
• Amino acids per kg: L-lysine monohydrochloride 7,390mg, L-glutamine 4,040mg, DL-methionine 3,690mg.
• Vitamins per kg: A 222,000 IU, D3 36,900 IU, E 16,400 IU, biotin 23.60mg, plus B vitamins.

Care & Caution

• This is a fortified supplement. Fed alongside a fortified balancer or a full-rate compound feed it can push trace elements, selenium in particular, past requirement.
• Check what the rest of the ration already supplies before adding it.
• Do not exceed the stated daily rates.
