Natural VetCare Pet'Skin Balm for Cats & Dogs

Pet'Skin Balm is NAF's Natural VetCare answer to a cracked nose, a split pad or a rub under a collar — a long-lasting hydrating balm you massage into the spot, rather than a wash or a spray. It is fragrance free and preservative free, which is what makes it tolerable on skin that is already sore.

The working ingredients are coconut, calendula, aloe vera, bisabolol and ceramide precursors carrying omega 3 and 6. NAF state it is safe to use alongside skin supplements, veterinary diets and medications, so it slots in without stopping anything else the animal is on.

<>
Performance & Benefits
  • Coconut for a heavy, long-lasting layer over dry or cracked skin.
  • Calendula and bisabolol, two of the standard calming botanicals for irritated skin.
  • Aloe vera for hydration, and to keep the balm comfortable on a broken surface.
  • Ceramide precursors supplying omega 3 and 6, feeding the skin's own barrier lipids.
  • No fragrance and no preservative, so there is less in it to sting or to provoke a reaction.
  • NAF confirm it can be used alongside skin supplements, veterinary diets and medications.
<>
Suitable For
  • Dry, cracked noses and pads, on cats and on dogs.
  • Cuts, scrapes and rubs, including the marks a harness or collar leaves.
  • Animals that will not tolerate a scented or preserved product.
  • Use as often as needed, on any breed or age.
  • It treats the surface only — where the itch is driven from the inside, a fed supplement such as Natural VetCare Cat'Skin does the other half of the job.
<>
How to Use
  • Massage a small amount into irritated skin, cracked paws and dry noses to soothe and soften.
  • Apply gently to scrapes and rubs to help them heal and to protect them while they do.
  • Work it in properly rather than leaving a film sitting on the surface.
  • Repeat as often as needed; NAF set no limit on how frequently it can be applied.

Specification
  • Ingredients as published by NAF: coconut, calendula, aloe vera, bisabolol and ceramide precursors (omega 3 and 6).
  • Fragrance free and preservative free.
  • Unscented, which is NAF's stated reason for good compliance — an unscented balm is easier to get onto an unwilling animal.
  • NAF publish no full ingredient declaration, no pack weight and no shelf life for this balm, so none is stated here. This listing is the 80g pot.
  • Pet'Skin Balm is no longer listed on the Natural VetCare UK site; the details above are from NAF's own international product page.
