Shampoo Perfect is a lavender-scented everyday shampoo rather than a specialist whitener or a medicated wash. Omega pair lavender oil with mild cleansing agents — sodium laureth sulphate and cocamidopropyl betaine — plus glycerin and polyquaternium-7, which is the conditioning ingredient that makes a mane comb through afterwards.

It brightens a white coat and lifts the depth of a dark one, so it does duty both for show preparation and for washing a horse off after work. It is vegan and cruelty-free, which the oil-and-beeswax Hoof Perfect in the same range is not.
