Saracen Level-Grow Mix Summer Formula – 20kg

Level-Grow™ Mix Summer Formula is a stud mix with a low glycaemic formula, designed to support young horses, broodmares and backward foals without compromising skeletal development. It combines balanced nutrition with advanced ingredients for healthy growth and gastric support, in a mix format that many youngstock find more tempting than cubes.

The moderate starch level gives steady energy release rather than the peaks and troughs that can drive uneven growth. BMC® buffered mineral complex aids gastric health and bone development, chelated minerals enhance absorption and utilisation, Vistacell live yeast improves nutrient digestibility, and natural vitamin E provides antioxidant support.

Suitable For

• Foals, as a creep feed.
• Weanlings and yearlings, through to 2–3 year old stores.
• Backward foals needing safe growth support.
• Larger broodmares prone to carrying excess weight during gestation.

Feeding

• Introduce gradually over 7–10 days.
• Feed to a growth curve rather than to appetite, monitoring condition regularly.
• Feed alongside good quality forage or milk, appropriate to age.
• Always ensure free access to clean, fresh water.

• Composition: crushed oats, soya hulls (GM soya), lucerne pellets, cane molasses, soya bean meal (GM soya), dried sugar beet pulp, maize flakes, soya flakes (GM soya), soya oil (GM soya), dicalcium phosphate, sunflower seed meal, maerl (calcareous marine algae), wheat, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, magnesium oxide, wheatfeed, mixture of flavouring compounds. 20kg.
• Crude protein 14.0%. Crude oil 6.5%. Crude fibre 13.0%. Starch 16.5%. Digestible energy 12.5 MJ/kg.
• Per kg: calcium 1.35%, phosphorus 0.60%, copper 78mg, zinc 243mg, selenium 0.98mg, vitamin A 14,000iu, vitamin D 1,400iu, vitamin E 280iu (70iu from a natural source), vitamin C 200mg.

Care & Caution

• Overfeeding youngstock risks developmental orthopaedic disease. Feed to a growth curve and take nutritional advice if growth is uneven.
• This is the summer formula. A separate winter formula is available and the two are not interchangeable mid-season without a gradual changeover.
