The woodland version of Scruffs' small pet ceramic set: a log-shaped house, a tree-shaped water well and a tree stump food bowl, all in dolomite. The log house is the widest of the three pieces at 13.5cm and the lowest at 12cm, which gives it a longer, more tunnel-like interior than the toadstool house — worth knowing if your gerbil would rather have a burrow than a dome.

The stump bowl is made non-tip, so it stays level while a hamster climbs on the rim to reach food, and the well has a small drinking opening rather than an open reservoir. Ceramic throughout, so none of it can be gnawed to pieces and swallowed.

How to Use

• Place all three pieces directly on the cage floor, on a level surface.
• Bank substrate around the log house so the pet can dig up to the entrance.
• Empty and refill the well with fresh water daily.
• Hand wash only, in warm water with a mild detergent — not dishwasher safe.
• Dry completely before returning anything to the cage.

Care & Caution

• Inspect every piece for chips and cracks at each cage clean and take out anything damaged — chipped dolomite leaves sharp edges and loose fragments a small animal may swallow.
• These are heavy ceramic pieces. Site them on the cage floor, never on a platform, shelf or ramp from which they could fall onto an animal underneath.
