Scruffs Stockholm Felt Round Cat Bed – 44 x 44 x 27cm

The Stockholm round is a felt-walled cat bed with a separate faux fur cushion dropped into the base. The felt is stiff enough to stand on its own, so the wall stays at its full 27cm instead of slumping — a cat gets a genuine side to curl against and shelter behind, which puts it closer to a shallow cave than to an open donut bed.

It folds down flat when it is not wanted, and the cushion lifts straight out, which is the part that actually needs washing. At 44cm across the base there is room for a large cat to lie stretched rather than only curled, and the tan felt is meant to be left on show in a living room rather than hidden in a utility.

How to Use

• Open the bed out from flat and press the felt wall into a full circle before dropping the cushion in.
• Machine wash the cushion only, on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees with a mild detergent. Dry flat.
• Do not wash or submerge the felt outer — wipe it with a damp cloth. Soaking felt changes its structure and the wall will not stand up again.
• Do not bleach the cushion and do not tumble dry it.
• Colour transfer can occur while the felt is wet, so keep a damp bed off pale carpet and upholstery until it has dried.
