Simple System Simple Balance+ – 15kg

A forage balancer exists to fill the gaps that hay and grazing leave behind. Simple Balance+ does that without resorting to synthetic premixes: it is built from lucerne, Timothy grass, cooked full fat linseed and seaweed meal, so the vitamins and minerals arrive in the forms found in plants rather than added afterwards.

At 18–22% protein with excellent Omega 3 levels from the linseed, it supports coat, hoof and muscle, while the stabilised dried yeast acts as a prebiotic for the hindgut. Sugar stays under 8% and starch under 3%. One 15kg bag is a 30-day supply for a 500kg horse.

Feeding

• Introduce gradually over a week, as with any new feed.
• Feed 100g per 100kg bodyweight per day — 500g daily for a 500kg horse.
• Quick soaking: use 2 to 2.5 parts water to 1 part feed.
• Can be fed alongside other Simple System feeds, or alone to horses at pasture or stabled with hay or haylage.
