Stud Muffins – 3 Pack

Three muffins, each shrink-wrapped on its own. That is the whole idea of this pack: it is small enough to live in a coat pocket without going stale, and cheap enough to find out whether your horse likes them before you buy forty-five.

Stud Muffins are handmade in Ayrshire from human food grade raw materials, with every ingredient traceable back to a single source. Oats, wheat and barley make the body; linseed and fenugreek are in there for coat condition, and the fenugreek is a large part of why horses go for them.

Performance & Benefits
  • Three muffins, each individually shrink-wrapped, so an opened pack does not dry out.
  • Pocket-sized — the pack goes in a jacket or a grooming box without being crushed.
  • Handmade in Ayrshire, Scotland, from human food grade raw materials.
  • Every ingredient traceable to a single source.
  • Linseed and fenugreek in the recipe, both associated with coat condition.
  • Soft-textured rather than hard-baked, which suits older horses and poor dentition.
<>
Suitable For
  • Trying Stud Muffins for the first time before committing to a larger pack.
  • Carrying on a hack or to a show as an on-the-move reward.
  • Catching a horse in the field, or as a reward after the farrier or vet.
  • Horses that dislike hard, dry treats.
  • Not economical as a regular treat supply — the 15 or 45 pack costs far less per muffin.
<>
Feeding
  • Feed by hand as a reward. Unwrap each muffin before giving it.
  • A complementary feed: give alongside a balanced ration, not in place of any part of it.
  • Stud Muffins publish no daily feeding rate or maximum, so none is stated here.
  • Keep the pack somewhere dry and out of the horse’s reach.
<>
Composition & Analysis
  • Stud Muffins name oats, wheat, barley, linseed and fenugreek as the ingredients; the full declared composition is printed on the pack.
  • Stud Muffins publish no analytical constituents for any product in their range — no protein, oil, fibre, ash or sugar figures — so none is given here.
  • Stud Muffins do not publish the weight of an individual muffin or of the pack.
  • Contains cereals, so it is neither grain free nor gluten free.
  • Three muffins per pack. Also made in 15 and 45 packs, and as a celebration cake.
