Supreme Russel Rabbit Tasty Mix – 2.5kg

The 2.5kg bag is the size most one- and two-rabbit households settle on. Fed at Supreme's rate it lasts a single average rabbit a little over five weeks, or a bonded pair around two and a half — long enough to be worth buying, short enough that the bag is finished while the mix is still fresh and the flaked components have not gone soft.

The recipe is Supreme's pellet-free everyday food for adult rabbits: extruded wheat, flaked peas and maize, Timothy hay, alfalfa and whole oats, with no added sugars. It is the same formulation across all four pack sizes, so moving up or down a bag size does not mean changing the diet.

Performance & Benefits
  • No pellets in the mix — Supreme build it entirely from recognisable flaked and extruded pieces.
  • 14% crude protein and 12% crude fibre, the figures Supreme publish for this recipe.
  • Natural prebiotics included for digestive health, with no added sugars.
  • Timothy hay is one of the named ingredients rather than an afterthought on the packaging.
  • Vitamins and minerals added to a declared level, including 100mg vitamin E per kilogram.
  • A resealable-height bag that stores easily in a plastic bin without decanting.
<>
Suitable For
  • One rabbit or a bonded pair, where a 2.5kg bag is used up in a month or two.
  • All adult breeds, dwarf through to giant.
  • Owners trying a mix for the first time who do not want to commit to a sack.
  • Not intended for rabbits under about six months; Russel Junior Tasty Mix is Supreme's growing formula.
  • Not the format for a rabbit that selectively eats the cereal and leaves the fibrous pieces — Russel Rabbit Tasty Nuggets gives the same nutrition in a form that cannot be picked over.
<>
Feeding
  • Feed 25g per kilogram of bodyweight per day, divided between a morning and an evening meal.
  • Supreme give 60–70g a day as the figure for an average 2.5kg rabbit, which makes this bag about 38 days of feed.
  • Weigh the portion rather than scooping it; muesli-style mixes are easy to over-serve by eye.
  • Unlimited hay, fresh leafy greens daily and constant clean water alongside.
  • Wait until the bowl is empty before refilling, so the whole ration gets eaten rather than the favourites only.
