Thunderbrook Meadow Nuts – 20kg
Meadow Nuts are 100% dried meadow grasses and herbage pressed into 8mm nuts. The meadows behind them are never sown with modern hybrid ryegrasses and never given chemical fertiliser, and the grass is left to reach maturity before cutting — which is what brings the sugar down and the fibre up.
Thunderbrook's analysis, tested in May 2024, puts sugar at 7% and starch at 1%, with 30% crude fibre, 11.5% crude protein and 8.24 MJ/kg. The nuts are tested pesticide and herbicide free. At 8mm they are the right size for a treat ball, and they soak down readily into a mash for a horse that can no longer chew them.
