Whimzees Antler Dental Dog Chew – Medium, Box of 66

Sixty-six Medium Antlers works out at a little over two months of daily chews for one dog, or a month for two. It is the box to buy once the shape has proved itself, rather than the one to try first.

Each chew is the standard Medium at 96 kcal, for dogs of 11–18kg. Across the box that is roughly 6,300 kcal, so it is worth setting the daily chew against the daily food rather than on top of it.

Performance & Benefits
  • 66 Medium chews — over two months at one a day for a single dog.
  • 96 kcal per chew; about 6,300 kcal across the whole box.
  • The Antler's own recipe, with calcium carbonate and chamomile extract at 0.20%.
  • Forked shape that holds a hard chewer's attention.
  • Meat-free and free of cereal grain.
  • Cheaper per chew than buying singles through the month.
<>
Suitable For
  • Dogs of 11–18kg fed one chew a day.
  • Two-dog households working through a month at a time.
  • Owners who have already settled on the Antler shape.
  • Try the single Whimzees Antler Medium first if your dog has not had this shape before.
  • Dogs of 18–27kg want the Whimzees Antler Large rather than this box.
<>
Feeding
  • One chew per dog per day.
  • 96 kcal per chew, 66 chews per box.
  • Decant into an airtight container once opened — the box stays in use for months.
  • Whimzees publish bag and box counts for some markets but no pack count for this box on their own site, so the count here is the pack as supplied.
<>
Composition & Analysis
  • Composition: potato starch, glycerin, powdered cellulose, lecithin, dried yeast, malt extract, lupine, calcium carbonate, chamomile extract (0.20%).
  • Typical analysis: crude protein 1.1%, fat content 2.0%, crude fibre 7.2%, crude ash 2.4%, moisture 12%.
  • The Antler recipe differs from the rest of the range; do not assume the Alligator or Hedgehog ingredient list applies here.
  • Whimzees describe the range as natural and grain-free, excepting the Ricebone.
<>
Care & Caution
  • Whimzees state these are not suitable for dogs under nine months old, or for any dog under 2.3kg.
  • Whimzees warn that swallowing any item without thoroughly chewing it may be harmful or even fatal — stay in the room and take the last short piece away.
  • Feed one correctly sized chew a day only, and always leave fresh water down.
