This is the certified one. Woof Wear's Hi Vis Riding Vest meets EN17353:2020, the current European standard for enhanced visibility equipment, and it works two ways: fluorescent yellow so a driver picks you out in daylight, and reflective so headlights find you when the light goes.

It is cut to go over whatever you are already wearing. Adjustable side straps and an elastic gusset pull it in so it does not flap at a canter, and there are two large zipped pockets — enough for a phone, keys and a handful of treats without any of it working loose.

How to Use

• Wear it as the outer layer — a vest under a coat does nothing.
• Set the side straps so it sits close without pulling, and zip it fully.
• Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle spin, with a non-biological detergent.
• Do not tumble dry, and do not leave it in strong sunlight to dry.
• Pair it with hi vis on the horse as well; a rider's vest alone gives a driver less to see.
