Woof Wear Reflective Club Boot – Hi Vis Orange, Large
Orange is the hi vis colour that holds up best against green summer hedges and grey winter tarmac, where lime can wash out. The straps are fluorescent through and reflective banded, so they work in daylight and again when a headlight finds them — and a boot on a moving leg is a far better attention-getter than a static patch of colour on a rider's back.
Large is a two-way size on Woof Wear's chart: the front legs of large horses of 16.3hh and over, or the hind legs of horses from 15.2hh to 16.2hh. Underneath the hi vis it is the standard Club Boot — 7mm neoprene with a padded PU strike pad over the inside face. Supplied as a pair.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Fluorescent orange straps with reflective banding, visible in daylight and in headlights.
- Padded PU strike pad over the inside of the leg where a brushing blow lands.
- 7mm neoprene base, unchanged from the standard Club Boot.
- Secure-Grip hook and loop fastening that keeps its grip through repeated washing.
- A useful size to own: fronts on a 16.3hh-plus horse, or hinds on a 15.2–16.2hh horse.
- Machine washable at 30°C.
Suitable For
- Front legs on horses of 16.3hh and over.
- Hind legs on horses of 15.2–16.2hh.
- Road hacking, dusk and dawn exercise, and winter work in flat light.
- Horses that brush or dish and mark the inside of the opposite leg.
- Not a tendon boot — no support and only limited cover behind the tendon. An open-fronted tendon boot is the right choice for jumping.
- If you need fronts and hinds on a 16.3hh horse, buy this Large for the fronts and the XL for the hinds rather than four of one size.
How to Use
- Fit with the strike pad against the inside of the leg, straps fastening front to back and outwards.
- Set the pad over the fetlock and lower cannon, top edge clear of the knee or hock.
- Fasten so the boot cannot rotate but a finger still slides under the top edge.
- Close all straps before washing. Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle spin with non-biological detergent.
- Do not tumble dry and do not leave in strong sunlight; fluorescent orange fades if it is dried on a hot rail in the sun.

Care & Caution
- Grit trapped under the neoprene is what causes rubs. Knock the boots out and check the legs after every use.
- Neoprene traps heat — these are for exercise and turnout, not for continuous wear.
- Reflective banding only works clean. Wash the mud off, and do not treat hi vis as a substitute for lights and road sense.
